Removable prosthodontics

Is used to restore function and aesthetics. Replaces missing teeth with a removable prosthesis that needs to be removed for proper hygiene

Partial denture

Replaces one or more teeth in the same arch. It is mostly supported by the remaining teeth for stability. This can be fabricated with the traditional metal framework or with a lighter flexible material (flexible denture)

Full denture

Replaces all teeth in one arch. It is supported by the alveolar ridge and the surrounding gingival area. Upon patient desire and evaluation two or more implants can be placed to increase denture retention (overdenture). These dramatically increase stability and retention.
